powder coat it. Its harder wearing than spraying but you have less of a colour choice. Doesnt matter so much with a frame though.

I got my hoops for the Tiger done at the same place as tim blackmore racing will look in a sec for the addy

I have been very happy with the hoops they did and if I was to build another kit car I would power coat more of the car then pint. after 6 years the powder coating is still top's even after thousands of miles, trackdays and euro tours beer1:

The only problem with powdercoat is it's not as easy to touch in if you damage it.

if it was not changed right it's only a plasric cover do like paint would damage.

place in Lawrence hill does powder coating pretty reasonable to only £140 for both wheels not sure about frame there is a new powder coat called aeromax which is like chrome or polished metal but costs more seen swing arms done with it looks great
